I have decided to start reviewing classic books in this blog because in my head the people are demanding it. The Plumed Serpent is considered by many literary critics (with their heads up their asses) to be D.H. Lawrence’s worst novel, mainly because it is set in s Mexico which many British people at the time considered a filthy and unmentionable place.
